This is a collection of 5 videos I've uploaded consisting of simply home video footage of Opryland Theme Park that used to be in Nashville. The other day when I was out at the Oprymills / Hotel area it just made me sad seeing the remains of the Grizzly River Rampage. As I've gotten older I've realized how much I miss the park and dearly wish they didn't tear it down only to replace it with a mall.
From as early as I can remember, my family would get season passes every year and spend many many days here during the summer. It didn't have the rides that Six Flags did, but it still had a magical feel about it that I think benefited Nashville very much.
These videos come from two different years; 1 in 1989..and the other is 1990 (i think). Both are in the Fall and you will notice the halloween themes. I remember this being a fun time at Opryland. Still nothing beat just the good hot days of summer.
The 5th video (5 of 5) contains a trip on the train ride. I added a few titles of specific rides/places as we pass by them.
